Jackie Nolan Barefoot, 72, of Greenwood, MS, died Saturday, May 2, 2026 at his residence. A private service will be held at a later date.

Jackie was born April 29,1954 in Greenwood, to James Edward Barefoot and Helen Hays Barefoot. He was a Baptist and was a 1972 graduate of Greenwood High.  He worked for many years as a press operator at Lawrence Printing Company. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and watching baseball.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his sister, Cindy Nokes and husband David of Hattiesburg, MS; his brother Jamie Barefoot and wife Donna of McCalla, AL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
