Memorial services for Herman Edward Maxey will be held Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Abundant Life Church of God. Rev. James Woodall will officiate.

Mr. Maxey, age 78, died on Thursday, September 29,2022 at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital in Winona, MS.

He was born on August 29,1944 in Myrtle, MS to the late Edward and Annie Mae Warren Maxey and lived in Greenwood, MS. He graduated from Boonville High School and he was a registered nurse at Tyler Holmes Hospital in Winona, MS   till his retirement. He proudly served in the US Navy for 16 years.

He is survived by his wife of ten years, Corinne Tingle Maxey of Greenwood, MS, two sons, Kevin Maxey of Water Valley, MS, and Keith Maxey of Memphis, TN, two stepdaughters, Linda Bond of Greenwood, MS, and Diane Ayers of Carrollton, MS, stepsons, Jerry Henry of Batesville, MS, and David Henry of Batesville, MS, and a sister, Helen Maxey of Olive Branch, MS, and five grandchildren.
