Helen Boyer Meeks , 95, of Jackson, MS, formerly of Greenwood, MS, died Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Lakeland Nursing and Rehab. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at McNutt Cemetery in Schlater, MS.

Mrs. Meeks was born April 9, 1925 to Tully and Hattie Boyer in Sunflower County, MS. She was a member of St. Matthews Methodist Church in Madison. She worked at Supreme Electronics and Greenwood Leflore Hospital, and she loved to sew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Tom Meeks.

She is survived by her sons, Tommy Meeks (Ann) of Flora, MS, Billy Meeks (Debra) of Chattanooga, TN, and Mike Meeks (Kim) of Dallas, TX; daughters, Carol Meeks of San Francisco, CA, and Gloria Jean Morris of Mobile, AL; sister, Dot Broward of Longview, TX; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
