Grover Denman McDonald, Jr. 56, of Carrollton, MS, died Thursday, July 14, 2016 at his residence. A graveside service will be held Sunday July 17, 2016 at 2:00pm in Old Union Cemetery in Carroll County. A visitation will be held at Williams and Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood Sunday July 17, 2016 from 12:00pm to 1:30pm. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery in Carroll County.

Mr. McDonald was born March 10, 1960 in Greenwood, MS, to Grover Denman McDonald, Sr. and Ruby Rainey McDonald. He worked at Irvin Industries for 15 years and Hunter Engineering over a year. He was of the Christian faith. He loved the outdoors, working on his truck and motorcycle. He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his mother Ruby Rainey McDonald of Carrollton, MS; sisters, Mamie Zimmerman of Carrollton, MS and Karen Ackerman of Atlantic Beach, FL; brother, Robert McDonald of Carrollton, MS; girlfriend, Trudi Owens of Carrollton, Ms; and several nieces and a nephew. Pallbearers will be Sonny Brown, Ronnie Minga, Jeremy Taylor, Ricky Pugh, Myron Goodwin, and Marvin Goodwin. Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Walker and Corbin Walker.
