Frances Lee Brownlee, 81, of Greenwood went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Golden Age Nursing Home. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2016 at Williams & Lord Funeral Home. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2016 at Williams & Lord Funeral Home. Burial will be in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Carroll County. Bro. Mark Shiers will officiate.

Mrs. Brownlee was born January 11, 1935 to George Franklin Hays and Tommie Lee Childress Hays in Tallahatchie County, MS. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Franklin Hays, sister Helen Barefoot, and granddaughter Frances Diane Bennett.

Mrs. Brownlee is survived by her son Jimmy Bennett and wife Mary Jo of Black Hawk, daughters Barbara Gail Bennett of Sidon, MS, Teresa Lorianne Ball and husband David of Alexandra, LA., brother George Hays of Carrollton, MS, sister Doris Hanna of Zachery, LA. She is also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Alvin Upchurch, Sr., Michael Hony, Lucas Lee, Derek Ball, David Ball, and Jason Tompkins.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to West President Church of Christ or your favorite charity. Williams & Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
