Services for Eugene Curtis Tingle will be held Monday, March 20, 2017 2:00 PM at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS.
Mr. Tingle, age 92, of Leflore, MS, died on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Riverview Nursing Home in Greenwood of heart failure.
He was born on February 17, 1925 in Centerville, MS, to the late Nathan and Emma Lee Beaty Tingle and lived in Leflore, MS. He attended Leflore Baptist Church. Curtis worked for Supreme Electronics and retired from Delta Hardware.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Gena Tingle, son, Dennis Tingle, five brothers and a sister.
He is survived by his son, Ronnie Lee Tingle of Leflore, MS; daughter, Pamela Fly of Ridgeland, MS; sister, Estelle Clardy of Leflore, MS; four grandchildren, and four great children.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 20, 2017 from 12:00 PM to service time at the funeral home. Rev. Lanny Haley will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Interment will follow in Moores Memorial Cemetery in Carroll County.
