Eric Wayne Lester , 42, of Greenville, MS, died Friday, March 25, 2022. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2022 at McNutt Cemetery in Schlater, MS. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS. Rev. Edward Lee Sudduth will officiate.

He was born February 16, 1980 in Ruleville, MS, to Gene Lester, Jr. and Varena Denton Lester. He attended Greenwood Public Schools and resided in Greenville the past 12 years. He was a carpenter and of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his mother, Varena D. Thomas of Greenville, MS; father, Gene Lester, Jr. of Money, MS; five sons, Tyler Lester of Carrollton, MS, Eddie Paul Lester of Carrollton, MS, Nolan Lester of Charleston, MS, Bentley Lester of Jackson, MS, and Grayson Lester of Greenville, MS; two grandchildren, Emmie Lester and Hayden Lester; sister, Jena Medders of Greenville, MS; grandmother, Mary Lynn Sudduth of Greenville, MS; step-mom, Lisa Lester of Money, MS; step-dad, James A. Thomas of Greenville, MS; step-brother, Taylor Thomas of Northport, AL; and two step-sisters, Lindsey Thomas of Greenville, MS, and Sara Thomas of Greenville, MS.

Pallbearers will be Allen Thomas, Tracy Myers, Brandon Myers, Logan Nickolson, Chase Mitchell, and Henry Phillips, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be William Martin.
