Services for Elizabeth Faye Sumner Pitts will be held Monday, August 24, 2020 11:00 AM at West Drew Baptist Church in Drew, MS.

Mrs. Pitts, age 76, passed on Friday, August 21, 2020 at her residence in Salem, AR.

She was born on June 23, 1944 in Charleston, MS, to the late Curtis Odell Sumner Sr. and Elizabeth Alice Bryant Sumner. She was a member of West Drew Baptist Church where she and her late husband, Charles Curtis Pitts, were the longest members of the church. Faye is also preceded in death by her son, Charles Dewayne Pitts, and a sister, Shiann Ingram. She loved listening to Elvis Presley and watching his movies, and watching her favorite shows Matlock, Perry Mason, Wheel of Fortune, and any Western. She was a mother to many children that were not hers, made the best homemade biscuits, and treasured spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Faye retired from Duo-Fast Corp. in Cleveland, MS after fifteen years of service.

She is survived by her son, Robert Keith Pitts of Leland, MS; daughters, Malinda (Kevin) Beck of Salem, AR, and Glenda (Cam) Herring of Drew, MS; brothers, Curtis Sumner Jr. of Grenada, MS, and Michael Sumner of Tupelo, MS; sisters, Brenda Bowlin of Scobey, MS, Charlotte Mularski of Western Grove, AR, and Lori Phillips of Cleveland, MS; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 24, 2020 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church. Rev. Rick Milan will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Sam Pitts, Kevin Pitts, Cam Herring, Kevin Beck, Jacob Meier, and Michael Hissong. Honorary Pallbearers will be Alan Haycraft, Justin Jones, Cameron Herring, and Drew Beck. Burial will be in Drew Cemetery.
