She was born August 4, 1966 in Jackson, MS, to William A. "Butch" Mooneyham and Frances Lett Mooneyham. She was a member of the Greenwood Church of God and a resident of Itta Bena most of her life.
Suzette had a large personality with a great love for life. She enjoyed riding the Ranger and shooting snakes with her nieces. She had many pets, including Roscoethe Raccoon and a multitude of dogs, mostly Boston Terriers. Despite hearing loss, music was one of her greatest passions. She practiced sign language to her favorite hymns and worship songs, often times sharing these performances with her beloved church family. She could be found with her mom eating Mexican food after church most Sundays. She will be greatly missed by all who were privileged to know her. She was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her mother, Frances Lett Mooneyham of Itta Bena, MS; brothers, John W. Baker and wife Phoebe of Itta Bena, MS, and Jeffrey Mooneyham and wife Holly of Greenwood, MS; nieces, Macey Mooneyham, Macon Mooneyham, Shanna Rae Baker and her fiancé Trey Harrell; and dear friends, Keisha Russell, Jean Bennett, and Michelle Gong.
Pallbearers will be Trey Ferrell, Tommy Lee Andrus, Brian Andrus, Rob Farmer, Zachary Metz, and Billy Perry, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gene Mooneyham, Larry Beavers, and Larry Bennett.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Crystal Health & Rehab and the Greenwood Leflore Hospital Unit.
