Dover Ronald (Ronnie) Fleming

May 30, 1937 – March 22, 2023

Mr. Fleming, age 85, died on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Golden Age Nursing Home in Greenwood, MS.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 3:00 PM in Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, MS.

He was born in McGehee, Arkansas, to the late F.W. and Verna Miles Fleming. Mr. Fleming worked in the southern states in arts and crafts at various festivals. He also worked for many years with Kroger Grocery and Farrish Gravel. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Greenwood.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 57 years, Nancy Carol Fleming; sister, Linda Randall; and two great grandchildren, Eli and Levi Fleming.

He is survived by his son, Ron Fleming Jr. (Susie) of Oakland, MS; daughter, Sharon Strange (Robbie) of Coldwater, MS; sister, Donna Bowman (Donny) of Villa Rica, GA; six grandchildren, Dustan Fleming, Casey Fleming, Christopher Strange, Alexis Shannon, Tom Gordon, and Amanda Rutledge; and five great grandchildren, Laynee Rutledge, Peyton Gordon, Gauge Gordon, John Haltom Gordon, and Hartleigh Fleming.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Williams and Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood. Wilton Neal will officiate the services.
