Dora Dean Light , 70, of Itta Bena, MS, died Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at her residence. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Southside Cemetery in Inverness, MS. Rev. Eddie Carpenter will officiate.

Mrs. Light was born September 24, 1951in Inverness, MS, to Aubrey Barnett and Doris Barnett. She lived in Texas, Inverness, and for the last sixteen years in Itta Bena. She was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her son, Rodney Light, daughter-in-law, Sherry Light, and her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Roger Light of Itta Bena, MS, and son, Steven Light of Itta Bena, MS.
