Donnie Glenn Berryhill, 76, of Merigold, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at his son's home in Vancleve, MS, surrounded by his family. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, 11:00 a.m. in Merigold Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Williams and Lord Funeral Home in Ruleville. Larry Braswell will officiate the services.

He was born May 15, 1950, to Woodrow and Genette Berryhill of Merigold. Donnie graduated from Drew High School and went on to work at the Mississippi State Penitentiary in Parchman where he retired after 32 years. He was a simple man who enjoyed tinkering on vehicles, hunting, and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Sue Gene Berryhill Hill.

He is survived by his son, Donnie Nicholas Berryhill (Kristel) of Vancleave, MS; daughter, Catrina Branton of Ocean Springs, MS; brother, Ricky Berryhill of Cleveland, MS; his beloved companion of 30 years, Ann Moore of Cleveland, MS; and six grandchildren, Jacob Berryhill, Dawson Bell, Toy Berryhill, Colie Branton, Blaine Berryhill, and Hendrik Berryhill.

Pallbearers will be Nick Berryhill, Jacob Berryhill, Blaine Berryhill, Hendrik Berryhill, Dawson Bell and Drew Berryhill.
