Dimple H. Bridges , 82, of Greenwood, MS, died Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, MS. There will be a private service at a later date.

She was born July 22, 1938 to A.J. Hathorn and Maude Hutchinson Hathorn in Lawrence County, MS. She graduated from Prentiss High School in Prentiss, MS. She was a resident of Greenwood for 60 years and worked as secretary and bookkeeper for DeLoach's Department Store for 22 years. She was a member of Greenwood Church of God. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Glenn Hathorn.

She is survived by her husband, Henry H. Bridges, Jr. of Greenwood, MS; daughter, Cynthia Melton of Winona, MS; grandchild, Ashley Bridges Deford of Carrollton, MS; sister, Dorothy Ronald of Magee, MS; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in her memory to the charity of the donor's choice.
