David Earl Prescott , 66, of Greenwood, MS, died Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at his residence. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Williams & Lord Funeral Home with visitation 1p.m. until service time. Rev. James Woodall will officiate.

David was born May 19, 1956 to J.C. Prescott and Marvlene Tipton Prescott in Lexington, MS. He was of the Baptist faith. He worked as a plumber for Upchurch Plumbing, Mike's Plumbing, and himself. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Betty Prescott Mullen

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Debra Prescott of Greenwood, MS; two sons, Mike Frith and wife Olivia of Black Hawk, MS, and Matthew Buckingham and wife Beth of Black Hawk, MS; two daughters, Cassidy Burris of Columbus, MS, and Jamie Wright of Dallas, TX; brother, J.C. Prescott of Winona, MS; seven grandchildren, Lexis Frith, Michael Frith, Jr., Lauryn Buckingham, Caitlyn Hester, Ryker Burris, Harper Wright, and Jaxon Wright; one great granddaughter, Olivia Grace Sheppard; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Williams & Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
