Graveside services for Daniel" Danny" Dale Herring will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2020 2:00 PM at Lehrton Cemetery in Ruleville, MS.

Mr. Herring, age 57, died on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at his residence in Ruleville, MS.

He was born on August 17, 1962 in Ruleville, MS, to Jessie F. and Cora Lee Griffin Herring. Danny is preceded in death by his father, Jessie F. Herring and dad, Joe Morris Sr., son, Steven J. Herring, and brothers, Wendell Morris and Jessie F. Herring Jr.

Danny enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandkids, worked at Ruleville Manufacturing Co. for 20 years, and was a devoted member of the Ruleville Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife of eleven years, Fran Hamblen of Ruleville, MS, mother, Cora Lee Morris of Drew, MS, son, Dale (Casey) Herring Jr. of Portland, TN, brothers, Joel (Donna "Lynn") Morris of Parks Bayou, MS, Ricky Morris of Parks Bayou, MS, Joe "Poncho" (Glenda) Morris Jr. of Drew, MS, and a sister, Cindy (Bo) Horton of Ruleville, MS, and four grandchildren.

Brother Van Lott will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Sam Goss, Benny Grant, Gentle Calhoun, Scott Eubanks, Kenneth Luna, and Brent Willingham. Honorary Pallbearers will be Zach Tollison, Earnest Ross, and Butch Jenkins.
