Graveside services for Curtis May will be held Saturday April 02, 2016 at 2:00PM at the Coila Baptist Cemetery in Carroll County.
Mr. May, age 57 died on Monday March 28, 2016 in Alexander City, AL from heart failure.
He was born on February 03, 1959 in Greenwood to the late William Rafe May and Annie Denny May and lived in Greenwood, MS where he attended Greenwood High School. He was a member of the Coila Baptist Church. Mr. May worked for the city of Greenwood for the past 18 years as a foreman. He was an avid dart player and enjoyed all outdoor activities and sports. He is preceded in death by twin daughters Candy and Sandy May, a sister Vanita May, and brothers Felix May and John Lloyd May.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Shelia May of Greenwood, two sons, Paul Curtis May and Philip Tyler May, both of Greenwood, two brothers, Terry May of Dadeville, AL and Barry May of Quitman, GA, one sister, Fleeta Thornton of Dadeville, AL, three grandchildren, Joshua May, Anna May, and Abigail May, a special lifelong friend Bubba Shaffer, and a number of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday April 02, 2016 11:30 AM to 01:30 PM at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood. Rev. Larry Shackleford will officiate the services. Burial will be in Coila Baptist Cemetery.
