Christopher Compton , 34, of Grenada, MS, formerly of Carrollton, MS, died Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at his residence in Grenada. Private graveside services will be held 9 a.m. Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Walthall Cemetery. Bro. Mike Davis will officiate. Williams & Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was born in Greenwood, MS, to Ned B. Clark, Jr. and Marie Clark. He was disabled and lived in Carroll County most of his life, residing in Grenada for the past year. He was of the Pentecostal faith. He was preceded in death by his father, and grandparents, Howard Wesley Compton and Shirley Compton.

He is survived by his wife, Amy Wever of Yazoo City, MS; two sons, Christopher Compton, Jr. of Yazoo City, MS, and Peyton Compton of Yazoo City, MS; three brothers, Trey Hernandez of Greenwood, MS, Bryan Clark of Vaiden, MS, and Patrick Clark of Leflore County, MS; sister-in-law, Haley Hernandez of Greenwood, MS; nephew, Braydon Hernandez of Greenwood, MS; and niece, Madilyn Hernandez of Greenwood, MS.
