Services for Christal Blackwell Walls will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2016 4:00 PM at West Drew Baptist Church in Drew, MS.

Mrs. Walls, age 59, died on Monday, October 24, 2016 at Bolivar Medical Center.

She was born on March 17, 1957 in Cleveland, MS, to Jessie and Betty Ann Blackwell. Christal had been doing her passion of Cosmetology since 1982 and was named best salon one year in Cleveland when she worked at Frances Beauty Salon. She loved the outdoors, going camping, family, and her grandkids were her everything. Christal would always go over and beyond for anyone without hesitation. She was a member the West Drew Baptist Church since 2000. She loved the Lord, and she loved to sing for the Lord. She is preceded in death by her father Jessie Blackwell.

She is survived by Husband of 29 years, Johnny Wright Walls of Drew, MS; Mother, Betty Ann Blackwell of Harrison, AR; Son, John (Nicole) Walls of Michigan City, MS; Daughter, Alisha (Will) Gentry of Blue Springs, MS; two Sisters, Renee Brink of Hardy, AR, and Lacy Wilson of Harrison, AR; two Brothers, Stan Blackwell of Harrison, AR, and Brad Blackwell of Gore Springs, MS, and six Grandchildren, Alana Miller, Colton Walls, Nick Walls, Jayda Lamb, Avery Verble, and Morgan McMurry.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at West Drew Baptist Church in Drew. Bro Rick Milan and Bro Tony Champion will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Brad Blackwell, Stan Blackwell, Chantz Wilson, Keith Beck, Presley Beck, and Parker Beck. Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Johnson and Tony Champion. Burial will be in Drew Cemetery.
