Charles Allen Upchurch , 63, of Coila, MS, died Friday, March 15, 2019 at his residence. Services will be 3 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2019 at First United Methodist Church in Greenwood, MS. Visitation will be 2 p.m. until service time. Rev. Glenn Seefeld will officiate the services.

Mr. Upchurch was born July 25, 1955 in Greenwood, MS, to the late Vernon Upchurch and Carolyn Thomas Upchurch. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Greenwood. He was a river boat Captain, enjoyed motorcycles, and loved to travel on his Harley Davidson.

Mr. Upchurch is survived by his wife, Carole Elwick Upchurch of Coila, MS, son, Richard Upchurch of Cleveland, MS, two step sons, Thomas Short of Queen City, TX, and Todd Short of Northkingstown, RI, five grandchildren, Reed Upchurch, Ryleigh Upchurch, Rob Upchurch, Roo Short, and Hayden Short
