Candedia Upchurch Hood, 57, of Carrollton, MS, died Wednesday, September 18, 2024, in Grenada County. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, September 22, 2024, at Williams & Lord Funeral Home with visitation 1 p.m. until service time.  Rev. Tim Winters will officiate. Burial will be in Moore's Memorial Cemetery in Carroll County.

Mrs. Hood was born December 21, 1966, in Shelby, MS, to Ralph Upchurch and Barbara Alice Smith Upchurch. She was a member of North Park Church of God. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a waitress and enjoyed online shopping. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hood, Jr., son, Quentin Thomas Myers, her twins, and her parents.

She is survived by her daughter, Dustie Hood of Charleston, MS; sister, Amy Upchurch Spencer of Richton, MS; seven grandchildren, several cousins, and extended family.
