Burt Lamont Saucier, Sr.  68, of Greenwood, MS, died Sunday, June 16, 2024 at his residence. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Williams & Lord Funeral Home with visitation from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Rev. Larry Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Saucier was born March 30, 1956, in Greenwood, MS, to H.K. Saucier and Myrtie Marie Morehead Saucier. He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed spending time with family and the outdoors and also enjoyed his chickens and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Hanson Saucier of Greenwood, MS; sons, Burt Saucier, Jr. and wife Suzanne of Coila, MS, Brady Saucier of Greenwood, MS, and Blake Saucier and wife Katie of Gulfport, MS; daughter, Brooke Bullard and husband Dustin of Winona, MS; brother, Kenneth Saucier and wife Mary Jane of Columbus, MS; sister, Cathy Saucier of Greenwood, MS; niece, Jessica Saucier of Starkville, MS; and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Cliff Daves, Derek Bullard, Calvin Knott, Bradly Ray, Jacob Myers, Braxton Myers, Fisher Ratliff, and David Ladner.

Honorary pallbearers will be Andy Wayne Peterson, Wayne Wiggins, Ricky Love, and James Ray Saucier. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. William B. Jones, Dr. Andrew Bartlett, Dr. Preston Boles, and Dr. Raymond Girnys.
