Services for Brenda Sue Shackleford Tierce will be held Friday March 04, 2016 09:00 AM at Lighthouse Ministries Church in Greenwood, MS.
Mrs. Tierce, age 63 died on Monday February 29, 2016 at University Medical Center of cancer.
She was born on January 16, 1953 in Leflore County, MS to Calvin and Joyce Grammer Shackleford and lived in Greenwood for most of her life. She was a homemaker and active member of Lighthouse Ministries. She loved to take care of her family, especially when it involved cooking and using her own recipes. She loved spending time reading her bible and long phone conversations. She is preceded in death by her daughter Judy Weldon, father Calvin Edward Shackleford and brother, Paul Shackleford.
She is survived by Daughter, Tina Harris of Grenada, one brother, Rev. Larry Shackleford of Greenwood, her mother, Joyce Murrah of Grenada, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday March 03, 2016 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Lighthouse Ministries Church in Greenwood. Rev. Larry Shackleford, and Rev. Grandville Wiggins will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Paul May, William Shackleford, James Matthew Weldon, James Woodall, Bob Tatum, Doug Shields, Isaiah Harris, Khristina Neal, and Austin Woodall. Honorary Pallbearer will be Matt Weldon. Burial will be in Centerville Cemetery.
