Brenda Winters Lassett, 65, died Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at her residence. Visitation will be 10 AM Saturday at Williams and Lord Funeral Home with services to begin at 11 AM in the chapel. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton; MS. Brother Kerry Owen will officiate.

Mrs. Lassett was born on August 2, 1957, in Sunflower County to James and Mary Ellen Winters. She was a former employee of Hickok-Supreme Electronics.

She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Woods (Michael) of Grenada, MS; sister, Sherry Goss (Wendell) of Avalon, MS; sister, Shander Weldon of Carrollton, MS; brother, Jamie Winters of Greenwood, MS; special sister-in-law, Kim Winters of Carrollton, MS; special brother-in-law, Lou Reed of Carrollton, MS; 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, James David Lassett, son, Ronald Reed, daughter Amanda Dawn Lassett, sister, Barbara Reed, and a brother, James Carson Winters.

Pallbearers will be Chris Reed, Trey Winters, Brandon Reed, Cody Goss, Colton Reed, and Eric Hopkins. Honorary Pallbearers will be El Ray Dean and Lou Reed.
