Bessie Nell Bruce Fancher, 76 of Luling, LA formerly of Carroll County died Tuesday, March 21, 2016 at Luling Living Center. Services will be Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 12 p.m. Harmony Baptist Church in Carroll County and visitation will be 11 a.m until service time Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the church. Burial will be in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Dennis McKay will officiate. Williams & Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Fancher was born in Carroll County on October 24, 1939 to Brown Lee Bruce and Millie Thomas Bruce. She was a graduate of Vaiden High School and worked in retail sales for K-Mart and Wal-Mart for many years. She also worked doing clerical work for Waterford Nuclear Facility. She enjoyed country music, dancing, cooking and sewing.

She is survived by two sons Neal Fancher of Paradis, LA, Lyndon Todd Fancher and wife Angel Dehart of Luling, LA, daughter Lisa Fancher Curole and husband Whitney Curole of Des Allemands, LA. She is also survived by her brother Jimmy Bruce of West, MS, sisters Evalynn Bruce of Little Rock, AR, Mary Lehman of Jackson, MS, Greta Boone of Sidon, MS and Bonnie Sue Carpenter of Winona, MS and six grandchildrenRichard Fancher, Chelsy Fancher, Brant Fancher, Kristen Curole, Whitney Curole and Kori Curole and one great-grandchild E.J. Curole.
