Ben Perry Harris, 76, of Greenwood, MS, died Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be 2 p.m. until service time at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2026 at First Baptist Church in Greenwood. Rev. Colin Montgomery will officiate.

Mr. Harris was born September 28, 1949, in Arkansas to Ben J. Harris and Garnie Mae Williams Harris. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Greenwood, where he was in in the choir. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Phillip Lynchard, Benny Harris, and Walter Harris; sisters, Betty Huskey and Carolyn Albritton.

Ben is survived by his sisters, Judy Williams of Greenwood, MS, and Glenda Eddins of Little Rock, AR; and several nieces and nephews.
