Audria Beatrice Gibson Alderman, 92, of Carrollton, MS, died Sunday, August 9, 2020 at her residence. There will be a private family service at a later date at North Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Highway 82, Kilmichael, MS. Rev. Archie Goodwin will officiate.

Mrs. Alderman was born May 24, 1928, to Joe Sam Gibson and Lula Price Gibson in Ruleville, MS. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a graduate of Greenwood High School and lived in Leflore County most of her life. The past year she was a resident of Carroll County. She was a homemaker. Her hobbies were cooking, sewing, and gardening. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Crowther, four brothers, and her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Billy G. Alderman of Carrollton, MS; sons, Joe Alderman and wife Nancy of Carrollton, MS, and Kenny Alderman and wife Denise of Sidon, MS; sister, Sue Fitts of Dublin, GA;  grandchildren, Guy Alderman, Spencer Alderman, Nathan Crowder, Allie Crowther, Hunter Alderman, Holli A. Long, and Casey Alderman; and eight-great grandchildren.
