Barbara Pruett Hill, 82, passed away at her residence on Saturday, June 7, 2025. A private family graveside service was held in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Greenwood, Mississippi, on Friday, June 13.

Mrs. Hill worked for the Mississippi Department of Revenue where she retired. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Hill is survived by her daughter, Carla H. Moses (Charlie); and son, Joe Hill III; brother, Don Pruett; and sister, Helen Haskins; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe F. Hill Jr.; her parents, Aaron and Ola Pruett; brothers, Jim Pruett, Kenneth Pruett, Aaron Pruett, and Stan Pruett; sisters, Betty Porter and Brenda Armstrong; granddaughter, Elizabeth Hill; and great granddaughter, Jessie Watson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blaire E. Batson or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
