Anthony "Tony" Wayne Wells, 63, of Greenwood, Mississippi, died September 14, 2025 at his residence. A private family service will be held at a later date.

Tony was born in Greenwood, to the late Kenneth Wells and Dorothy Golmon Wells on May 1, 1962. He was a master mechanic before his retirement. He loved to fish, watch football and racing, and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jo Carol Wells; and a daughter, April Wells Carpenter.

He is survived by his daughter, Falon Makely (Robbie) of Sidon, MS; sister, Tina Ferguson (Pat) of Colorado; grandchildren, Layne Harris (Savanna), Freya Lehman, Gabrielle Makely, Sebastian Wells, Winnie Thomas, Brodie Carpenter, Brandon Makely, and Robyn Makely; and a great grandchild, Clayton Harris.
