Annie Jean McLaughlin , 81, of Greenwood, MS, died Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Vaiden Community Living Center. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton with visitation 12 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Williams & Lord Funeral Home. Rev. Roy Bush will officiate.

Mrs. McLaughlin was born January 5, 1941 in Crowder, MS, to Andrew Jackson Self and Nannie Bell Parker Self. She was a member of Valley Hill Baptist Church.  She and her husband owned Video Exchange in Carrollton for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lee McLaughlin, son, Harry Lee Smith, and her parents.

She is survived by her sons, Earl Smith of Greenwood, MS, and Walter McLaughlin of Brandon, MS; daughters, Dorothy McLaughlin Moore of Brandon, MS, and Jeannie McLaughlin of Vaiden, MS; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ray Hodges, Ethan Hodges, Lee Woodard, Kyle Smith, Kutter McLaughlin, and Mitchell Pate.

Williams & Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
