Alvin Ray, Jr ., 66, of Drew, MS, died Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Delta Regional Medical Center. There will be a service at a later date.

Mr. Ray was born September 14, 1956 to Alvin Monroe Ray, Sr. and Mary Jane Husky Ray. He was a farmer and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Card Ray; brothers, Ricky Ray, Tommy Ray, Micky Ray, Eddie Ray, and Jerry Ray; and his parents.

He is survived by his son, Evan Ray and wife Brittany of Hattiesburg, MS; four grandchildren, Daniel Martin, Jr., Makayla Preston, Taci Glidden, and Lincoln Ray; brothers, Roger Ray, Michael Ray, Steve Ray, Tracy Ray, Jamie Ray, and Adam Ray; and sisters, Joann Salazar, Debbie Ray, Mary Etheridge, Nancy Jones, and Rita Veal.
